My journey into the spiritual realm has been a lifelong pursuit, spanning over three decades of deep exploration, research, and extensive reading across a diverse array of spiritual topics. Approximately two decades ago, a cherished friend helped me unlock a thrilling realisation: I was capable of channelling spiritual guidance. This discovery was the cornerstone for unfolding various other spiritual abilities. I possess the skills of clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, and claircognisance, enabling me to see, hear, feel, and intuitively understand spiritual energies. Additionally, I have the ability to access past life information, communicate with spirits (mediumship), engage in animal communication, and hold a profound spiritual bond with St Francis of Assisi, the Patron Saint of Animals.

Spiritual Healing naturally became my path. After delving into numerous healing modalities, it became clear that Reiki was my calling. Over three years, I diligently pursued and mastered Reiki I and Reiki II, culminating in my certification as a Reiki Master/Teacher in 2007. As an Accredited Reiki Treatment Practitioner with Reiki Australia, I have been running my Reiki Practice – Divine Love Reiki – for 17 years, fully licensed to practice and teach.  After a pause, I am resuming my teaching of Reiki classes, teaching all levels, either in small groups or by private tuition.

Offering Reiki to others brings me immense joy. It’s fascinating to witness how individuals experience Reiki and its potential benefits. The gentle yet potent nature of Reiki is what I find most appealing, as it provides substantial support for self-healing.

As a horse owner, I regularly practice Reiki on equines and have observed their remarkable responsiveness to this healing technique. Reiki aids in both physical and emotional healing for horses, just as it does for humans. Providing Reiki to our equine companions is a heartfelt gesture of gratitude for their unwavering service to us, contributing to their well-being and ensuring their happiness and health.

In recent years, I have transitioned my practice to focus on Distance Reiki. This method has proven to be equally, if not more, effective, allowing clients to receive healing regardless of their location. Distance Reiki offers the convenience of undergoing the session in the comfort of one’s home, with the added benefit of relaxation or rest post-session. This approach is similarly effective for horses, enabling them to receive Reiki in their own environment.

In addition to my qualifications and experience as a Reiki Master/Accredited Reiki Treatment Practitioner, I am also a Certified Level 1 Animal Energy® Practitioner. My in-depth training in this healing modality with Lynn McKenzie, a reputable and long-standing expert in this field, has enabled me to go deeper and to consolidate further the already existing skills and experience I have had in this field for over a decade.

Recently, I have rebranded, renamed, and refreshed my business to fully reflect the services I offer.  My business name has changed from divinelovereiki.com.au to wendycussen.au which encompasses my existing services and also the new services which I will continue to add in times to come.
